Mrs. Evelyn B. (Polly) Jackson age 77 of 125 Rhudy Street, Carrollton, Georgia died Monday, November 14, 2005 in Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.
She was born in Carroll County Georgia January 11, 1928 the daughter of the late Arthur and Flora Johnson Brannon. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Bremen-Bowdon Investment Co.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Jackson.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Sammy (Colleen) Jackson of Dawsonville, GA. Daughters and Son in-Law Grace (Millard) Turner of Dahlonega, GA. Ann Wood of Carrollton, GA. 6 Grandchildren14 Great-Grandchildren. 2 brothers Mack Brannon and Junior Brannon both of Carrollton, GA. 3 sisters Opal Hobgood of Fairburn, GA. Frances Holcombe and Margaret Latshaw both of Carrollton, GA.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Barnabas Sprinkle officiating. Music will be furnished by Lesa Sheffield and the pianist will be Jane Hesterlee. Pallbearers will be Scott Jackson, Brad Jackson, Jesse Turner, Jeff Lanier, David Hesterlee and Will Hesterlee. Honorary pallbearer will be Jackson Hesterlee. Interment will follow in the Bowdon City Cemetery.
