Mrs. June McClung age 89 of 150 Cottage Lane, Carrollton, Georgia died Tuesday November 15, 2005.
She was born in Carroll County Georgia June 26, 1916 the daughter of the late William E. and Mattie P. McClendon Butler. She was a member of the Bowdon Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Speedy McClung. Three sisters Annie Mae Baggett, Edna Whitman and Ethel Butler. Three brothers Herman Butler, Hood Butler and Hershel Butler.
Survivors include a son Randy McClung, Carrollton, GA. Two daughters and sons-in-laws Kara (Gary) Aldridge, Carrollton, GA. and Bedelia (Jack) Pullen, Villa Rica, GA. 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren. Two brothers Henry Butler, Carrollton, GA. and Ralph Butler, Orlando, FL. Sister Ina Fay Archer, Bowdon, GA.
Funeral services will be held Thursday November 17, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home with Dr. Ron Huggins officiating. Music will be furnished by Matthew Kilgore. Pallbearers will be Charles Middlebrooks, Pat Hannah, John Smith, Gary Archer, Russell Butler. Interment will follow in the Bowdon City Cemetery.
