Mr. Charles Quinton Hammond age 66 of 219 Barrett Road, Bowdon, Georgia died Saturday December 3, 2005 at his residence.
He was born in Carroll County Georgia August 1, 1939 the son of the late Joseph and Bithie Crews Hammond. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a Electrician at Southwire Company and was a Army veteran.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Clyde Hammond.
Survivors include his wife Judy Morris Hammond, Bowdon, GA. Daughter Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Morris, Springfield, MO. Brothers Winfred Lewis Hammond, Bowdon, GA. and Willie Lee Hammond, Carrollton, GA. Sisters Opal Elizabeth Richardson and Lois Annell Hammond both of Bowdon, GA.
Funeral services will be held Monday December 5, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Estes officiating. Music will be furnished by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Grove Church Cemetery.
