Mrs. Shirley Ann Hammock age 49 of 4853 West Highway 5, Bowdon, Georgia died Wednesday December 21, 2005 in Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.
She was born in Fulton County Georgia December 30, 1955 the daughter of Horace G. Johnson and the late Ruby Smith Johnson. She was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband Harold Hammock, Bowdon, GA. Son Michael Shane South, Kennesaw, GA. Daughter LeAnn Lynn, Cartersville, GA. Grandson Conner Brice Haley. Granddaughters Cheyenne Johnson, Kayla Smith, Haley and Tara Perkins. Step-Daughters Ginger Merrill, Savannah, GA. and Amanda Haley, Bowdon, GA. Father Horace G. Johnson, Carrollton, GA. Brother Hugh Johnson, Marietta, GA. Sister Elizabeth Cook, Carrollton, GA.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday December 24, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. (Georgia Time) from the Macedonia Baptist Church (Cleburne County Alabama) with Rev. Sammy Hall and Rev. Walter Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad Cook, Mark Haney, Millard Loftin, Marvin Johnson, Dalton McElroy and Dewayne Batchelor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She will be at the funeral home until being placed in state at the church at 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday Dec. 23 from 5-8 P.M.
