William Harvey Foster, 87, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2023. He was born January 5, 1936, in Huntington, WV, son of the late Hobert and Irene Glenn Foster. He retired as a supervisor from US Food in 1998. He was a member of Union Baptist Church where he was a member since 1963 and served as a trustee. He loved to raise a garden and enjoyed giving it away. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Tresa Foster. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Wanda Black Foster; two sons Dwane Foster (Sheila) and Glen Foster (Maureen); three grandchildren Scott Foster (Lindsey), Kirk Foster (Catie), and Lacye Carter; four great grandchildren Emmy Carter, Maya Foster, Sofia Foster, and Joanna Foster. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Rick Watson and Pastor Charley Stephens. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
