Linda Margaret Childress Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1935 - 2024 Linda Margaret Childress, 88, of Scott Depot, WV, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Tracy Mills. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born October 4, 1935 in Ceredo. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Virginia Hogan and Cyril Wilson; father, James Fewell; and her husband, Douglas Childress. She is survived by her cousins, Becky Myers, Bob Hogan and John Swisher and dear friends, Frank and Deborah Peck. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Linda and Doug were our neighbors for many years. Both were wonderful people and good friends of my family. Linda was the kindest person and such a lady. I am sorry to hear of her passing.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Linda. We worked together at Sturms and McCorkles Machine. We have lived around the corner from Doug and Linda for 43 years. Rayers for her family.
