 Rodney Gail Adkins, 54 of Huntington, passed away September 15, 2024. He was born February 23, 1970 in Huntington, a son of the late Carl Edward and Deanna Dare Hammond Adkins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Junior Adkins. He is survived by his daughter, Brittney Bowles, Huntington; son, Rodney Dwayne Clagg, Huntington; sister, Patricia Householder, Huntington; brother, Michael Scott Hammond; grandchildren, Shaylee Bowles and Cecily Bowles of Huntington and his companion, Sherri Aldridge; and a host of nephews. Man red it's been forever since I seen you but I miss you, you was always there for me when I needed you thank you for that I love you and regret not staying in touch so I could've been there for you like you have always been for me I was just telling a friend a story just the other day about you and Junior and sis and how you were my uncle's and Aunt but more like parents if not for you guys God knows where is been I'll never forget you Red it hurts my heart to have to say goodbye but we will see each other again in the next phase tell mawmaw Deanna and Junebug I love and miss them and tell Uncle Stevie I said fly high Bird
